TAKIBI YOGA Takibi: in Japanese means Bonfire |

At Takibi Yoga we believe in a basic truth, that the regular practice of yoga is a positive cause which creates the positive effects of personal revolution. These positive effects flow from the yoga's benefits in connecting with our innate, unlimited human potential. This potential is like a brilliant gem, which lies hidden within a lump of shapeless coal. The potential for value is there, but needs attention to blossom. Yoga practice can reveal that hidden potential, which flows from our sincere efforts and belief. It is through sincere, effort that we begin to polish that gem, which is our lives, physically, mentally and spiritually. Happiness, tranquility and physical wellbeing begin to manifest.
Through faith (belief) and sincere efforts we overcome obstacles, and use those obstacles as fuel to attain goals and realize desires. We have begun a path to a higher life state.
Yoga is practical. Each and every person can do yoga. There are many reasons for regular Yoga practice: stress relief and all of the resulting health benefits; improved muscle tone, lean body mass; spinal health, improved digestion and elimination; improved circulation and respiratory function, flexibility, strength, stamina and more energy, are just some examples of how yoga can benefit.
In our studio we feature a Hot Yoga posture series, which differs from that other popular hot yoga series Bikram. Our series is practical for beginners, as well as a challenge for experienced practitioners. We offer more postures in less time for an effective and practical yoga experience.
We welcome you to experience our beginning, athletic style of Hot Yoga, in classes which Goldie Locks, would call "Just right." All that is needed is a seeking spirit and a willingness to try. It is in the attempt to practice yoga that we begin to polish our lives and by doing so, we begin a positive cause, which bring about the effects, which positively, impact our lives of those we care most about.
